1. Definitions
- Service: The SMS verification virtual number service provided through the nuviosms.com website and API.
- User: A person who creates an account and uses the service under these terms.
- Number: A mobile number rented for a set time to receive verification messages.
- Balance: The amount in US dollars held in your account from top-ups and bonuses.
2. Our service
NuvioSMS provides a number for the country and service you choose for 20 minutes and shows the verification messages sent to it in your account. Numbers are real carrier numbers and may be reassigned to other users after the rental time ends.
3. Sign-up and account
- Accounts are created with a username and password. Whoever holds the username and password is treated as the account owner.
- Up to 3 accounts can be created per network (IP).
- Use a password unique to this site and keep it safe. Users are responsible for issues caused by a leaked password.
- An API key has the same permissions as your account. If a key leaks, create a new one right away on the API key screen.
4. Balance, top-ups, bonus
- Your balance is shown in US dollars (USD), and you can top up from $50 to $10,000 with 12 cryptocurrencies.
- Send the exact amount shown to the address shown. Funds reach your balance once the blockchain confirms.
- Top up $100 or more and get bonus balance by tier. The bonus is used for buying numbers.
- Your balance is used to buy NuvioSMS numbers, and refunds also go back to your balance. See our Refund Policy for details.
5. Using numbers
- Numbers are for receiving verification messages. You cannot send texts or make calls with them.
- Each number lasts 20 minutes and you receive every code in that time. If no code arrives, it is refunded automatically.
- Each account can have up to 20 open numbers.
- Whether a service accepts a number is decided by that service. NuvioSMS is responsible for delivering the codes received accurately.
6. Using the API
The API uses the same balance, prices and refund rules as the website. Each key can make up to 300 requests per minute, and requests above that may be briefly declined. Keys used in ways that overload the service may be suspended.
7. Prohibited use
- Using numbers for illegal activity such as fraud, phishing, spam, account takeover or illegal gambling
- Secretly using someone else's personal data or payment methods
- Attempts to attack the service or other users, or to bypass security measures
- Excessive scraping with automated programs or mass account creation
If such use is found, we may suspend the account and API keys without prior notice.
8. Service changes and maintenance
Countries, services and prices may change depending on carriers and number availability. The price shown on the purchase screen is the price at that moment. If maintenance is needed, we let you know in advance whenever possible, and active numbers are completed normally.
9. Limitation of liability
NuvioSMS is liable up to the price paid for the number. NuvioSMS is not liable for losses caused by things outside its control, such as policy changes at the service you verify with, issues with your device or network, or top-ups you sent by mistake.
10. Personal data
We handle personal data only as needed, according to our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
When the terms change, we announce it on this page in advance along with the effective date. Continuing to use the service after the changed terms take effect means you agree to them.
